| Sandeep Marwah Honored By Council of Charted Accountants Noida |

| Film Premiere By International Children’s Film forum |

After the long tiring twelve working days of film learning, the kids were more than excited to look at their final product at Big-Cinema screen to celebrate the premiere of Children’s film at Noida jointly organized by International Children’s Film Forum and Cine Darbar for the who’s who of the city.
The films were produced by International Public Broadcasting Forum for the Children and Written, Acted and Directed by the young film makers themselves under the guidance of Supriya Suri, Anuj Malhotra and Nitesh Rohit of Cine Darbar. The film facilities were provided by Marwah Studios.
“We have to work a lot in this segment, where school students should understand the value of visual media, and use this medium not only to express themselves but also to uplift the society through better cinema.” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah studios, a creative enterprises and Chairperson of IPBF as well as ICFF while inaugurating the film premiere.
“I congratulate the young aspirants of film making, and wish them a bright future in this beautiful glamorous field of Cinema” said R.K.Singh Dean ASMS and Vice President of International Broadcasting Forum.
“I am impressed by the wonderful ideas these kids have generated, and their hard work can been seen through these films” said Gurbir Grewal, Jt. Director AAFT and Vice President of International Children’s Film Forum.
In total five films were screened and every director was given an opportunity to interact with the huge gathering in the hall .Later Sandeep Marwah presented certificates to all the participants. |

| International Film And Television Research Centre Starts New Media Researches |

International Film & Television Research Centre (IFTRC) is the first film and television research centre in the private sector in India. It is affiliated with Marwah Studios and Asian Academy of Film & TV located at Noida Film City.
“Mass Media is known to shape thought, change attitudes and move people to action. The potential of film for facilitating development or damaging the society is indeed enormous. The same can be said for power of television in shaping peoples lives” said Prof. Harshvardhan, Vice President of IFTRC.
“Communicating to the audience is a challenge. Communicator not only must know what to communicate but also how to communicate to be able to influence the audience who possess diverse character. The effective communicator cannot rely on hunches and intuition to capture and hold the attention of the mass-audience.” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios a Creative Enterprises “He has to interact with the audience to seek their input.” Marwah added.
International Film & television Research Centre (IFTRC) will address itself to this complex task of conducting research with the audience on programming and its effectiveness. It will encourage and popularize the concept of mass media and will train media researchers to aid better TV programming and film making.
IFTRC is working with aims like :advancement of Film and Television productions, raising of professional standards of film making and television production, creating awareness about responsive and responsible film and TV production, continuing review of professional codes and ethics set by the professional and regulatory bodies for film-makers and television training, arranging scholarships, awards, facilitating attachment to film and television production houses for the purpose of research, conducting short term and long term training courses on media research, organizing debates, seminars, symposia and workshop on various subjects relating to film and television, publishing papers, reports and books relating to research on film & television and launching a journal of Media research. |

| Global Yog Alliance Planned World Meet on Yoga |

“No prayers are better than yoga, no exercise is powerful than yoga” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Patron to Global Yog Alliance (GYA). “We are in the circle of Spirituality and feel human when you get associated with Yoga” Marwah added who is also Patron to World Religious Parliament (WRP).
The Global Yog Alliance, an alliance of all the Yoga Federations of the World has decided to hold World Yoga Meet in Delhi in the month of November informed Gopal ji the President of the Alliance. “India is the real camp of Yoga, we are leaders as far as this art of living is concerned, that is why we opted to have three days Yog Meet in India” said Gopal Ji” We are expecting people from all over the World to participate in this International event” Gopalji added.

| International Children’s Film Forum Conducts Film Workshop |

Taking ideas from Nandita Das Chairperson of Children’s Film Society of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting the International Children’s Film Forum has organized two week workshop in film making for school Children at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.
“We believe that good ideas for films can be generated by these kids as they are not influenced by the ruthless society” said Sandeep Marwah, President of ICFF and Marwah Studios. “Train them in film production and you will get new ways of film making like a new painting by a fresh painter” Marwah added while inaugurating the workshop.
The film Workshop is conducted by Cine Darbar headed by Supriya Suri in association with Asian Academy Of Film And Television. Some of the prominent film makers have taken keen interest in taking the classes in this voluntary work.
The workshop is supported by International Film And Television Club, who will later organize an event of screening of these short films for public .The event is well covered with Radio Noida 107.4FM. International Public Broadcasting Forum has permitted these school kids to direct four short films in this workshop.

| Alka Lamba At AAFT To Promote Blood Donation Camp |

Go India Foundation under the chairman ship of Alka Lamba announced 15th August as the day to collect 63000 units of blood donation by the Indians on 63rd Independence Day of the country.
“We want to create a World Record by collecting this quantity of blood on the single day to prove that Indians believe in humanity, and are ready to help countrymen at any time” said Alka Lamba also the General Secretary of All India Congress Committee while addressing a patriotic speech at Asian Academy of Film And Television at Noida Film City.

| AAFT Launches New Courses In Films With Specialization |
After completion of 18 years in Media, Film and TV education the management of Marwah Studios has decided to launch four new Post Graduate courses in Cinema. The courses are specializations in ‘Film Direction’, ‘Cinematography’, ‘Film Post Production’ and ‘Sound Engineering and Designing’. These courses are along with UGC approved Post Graduate Degree in Mass Communication, Advertising and Journalism.
“The courses have been designed by the experts of Indian Film and Television Industry.” said Sandeep Marwah, president of Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film City. “There are very few seats in these four courses as the courses are very expensive and backed and supported by Indian Film Industry” Marwah added.

| DFF Now For Chinese Film Festival At Sri Fort |

Directorate of film festival, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India in association with Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in India announced five days festival of Chinese films to be held at Sri Fort Auditorium at New Delhi from 18th to 22nd May.
“The Idea is to exchange the culture between two countries” said S.M.Khan, the Director General and Director of DFF. “We have decided to have maximum number of film festival and every time our reach to the audience is increasing” Khan added.
The festival was inaugurated by Pyarelal, Jt.secretary of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The films which are shown in these five days are ‘U And Me’, ‘The Law Of Romance’, ‘Looking For Jackie’, ‘Huayao Bridge In Shangri’, The Road Home’, One Hundred Yuan’, ‘Together’, and ‘Fit Lover’.
The festival is supported by Marwah Studios, an oldest film establishment of north India and Radio Noida. “Anything to do with the films, we are ready to support the event” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios.

Sandeep Marwah the President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian Academy of Film And Television was honored with the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Global Excellence Award’ for bringing Indian Entertainment and Education to World map.
First he was honored at Budapest with Jiri Menzil and Istavain Zsoba, then honored at 33rd Cairo International Film Festival with Salma Hayek and Samuel Jackson, then he was honored in Belgium during 26th Mon’s International film festival de Amour. He is the first Media Person to be honored with a Degree in MBA from Oxford, ‘Ambassador of Peace’ from Korea, ‘Cultural Ambassador of Wales’ ‘Champion of Wales’ from Wales in total bringing a huge name and fame to India.

The management and the board of Asian Academy of Film and Television, the first private film school of the country have decided to create a separate entity for the acting school of its education society under the name and banner of ‘Asian School of performing Arts’
“It is very important to emphasis the acting course separately as there is a huge requirement of good trained actors in film and television business” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of AAFT. “We need good performers even for our own films. We are providing 100 percent placements to our actors, we are conscious about their involvement” Marwah added.
“I am keen in the progress of acting students as there is no dearth of work for actors in film and television industry. They have to be groomed well and should technically fit.” said the star producer Boney Kapoor.
The acting classes will be conducted by the experts and masters of acting from India and Abroad. Some of the renowned names from all over the World have already given their consent to be part of the training program. The course has been designed by board consisting of Star Anil Kapoor, Satish Kaushik, Karl Bardosh of Tisch School of The Arts,NYU and others. AAFT is backed by Indian Film Industry.

A special prayer meeting was conducted at Asian Academy of Film And Television, Noida Film City to remember the veteran actor Mac Mohan who recently left for heavenly abode.
“We feel it is necessary to pay homage to the departed soul who has contributed a lot to the creative field of film making” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of AAFT. “Patience and persuasion can be learned from him.” Marwah added.

“The art of acting can be learned by Mac Mohan films who very patiently entered into this industry and in 46 years performed in over 175 films” said Satish Anand, Dean Acting AAFT. “I cannot forget his visit to FTII, Pune when I was student there, how well he presented his caliber and talent to all of us” said Gurbir Garewal Jt Director AAFT.
Mac Mohan with his real name as Mohan Makhijani shot to fame as gun toting dacoit Sambha in Ramesh Sippy’s Sholay. He worked in films like Haqeeqat, Don, The Burning Train, Satte Pe Satta, Bombay to Goa, Shan, Majboor.
One minute silence was observed in the hall by students and the faculty of all the disciplines. A note of the proceeding was sent to the family of late Mac Mohan. Sandeep Marwah proposed a section for his best films in the library.

“If films can leave an impact on the audience that is called a real communication, and film festivals are the best way to project the culture of any country” said Carlos A Irigoyen Forno, the Deputy Head of Mission, Peru Embassy in India while inaugurating the 66th Festival of Short Digital Films produced by Marwah Films and Video Production and directed by the students of AAFT.
“It is important to keep in mind the need of audience while producing the films. Film making not only needs your willingness but ability too.” said Sandeep Marwah president of Marwah Studios and Chairperson of International Film and Television Club welcoming all the guests of 66th FSDF.
Some of the finest films were shown during the festival including The Final Cut Off Directed by Balwender Singh, Maimuna Directed by Ismail Sarr, The Beggar by Shathi Vijayan, Last Breath by Himanshu Chittkara, 2080 Life Without Oil by Daniel Martin, Night Tales by Daniel Ekundayo Akinshola, and 4th Idiot by Sanjeev Rai.

“Film directors are going to be successful for sure who believe in writing their own scripts” said Sanjay Chhel the renowned story, script, screenplay, dialogue ,lyrics writer of Rangeela, Daud, Yes Boss, Jo Bole So Nihal, Partner and director of feature films like Khoobsurat, Man Gaye Mugal-E-Azam, Yahhuu, Kya Dil ne Kahaa, talking to the students of final year of Cinema and PGD in Direction at Asian School Of Media Studies at Noida Film City.
“Education and training in cinema, observation, reading, watching cinema are some of the first steps toward achieving goals for all of you.” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and Director of Asian School Of Media Studies to Cinema students. “Honest towards your profession, hard work and continuous persuasion are the second part of this business” Marwah added.
Answering to the large questions Sanjay Chhel gave all those tips to the students which they can adapt and practice to be a good writer. The exercise motivated them to large extend.

Travel disruption ensures students capture even more from India visit A group of film students have encountered an international University trip which they’ll remember forever. Eight students and one lecturer from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) embarked on the trip of a lifetime to India but the recent travel difficulties have proved inspirational for further filming opportunities.

The screenwriting and film production undergraduates set off in late March to spend three weeks in New Delhi at the Asian Academy of Film & Television conjuring up two short films during their stay. One member of the group, John Coxhead, has created a blog detailing the events of their epic journey.

A special film and TV workshop has been conducted by the well known Croatian film maker Ljubica Jankovic Lazaric for the students of direction at Asian Academy of Film and Television [AAFT] in Noida Film City.
“ I am proud to introduce an award winning film maker who has recently won award for her documentary at International Film Festival Zagreb Dox in Croatia “ said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Director of AAFT. “ She has directed more than 250 documentary films in countries like Germany, Australia, USA, Italy, Albania, Iran, and India.” Marwah informed.
I am elevated to be one of the faculty members at AAFT and would love to share my vast experience in documentary film making as a part of my duty” said Ljubica Jankovic Lazaric, the product of University of Zagreb and member of Croatian Film Director’s Guild. “My last film is covering a controversial subject of ‘being Lesbian’. Idea is to project the feelings and status of these people in society.” Ljubica expressed.

“ It’s not only a film festival but a cultural exchange between two countries, the Japanese films today are representing my country in this campus of Media Professionals ” said Teriyuki Hoshini Director, Japan Foundation in India while inaugurating the two days Japanese Film Festival at Marwah Studios organized by Asian School of Media Studies.
The two days Japanese films Festival will show four films: High and Low- Akira Kurosawa, End of Summer – Yasujiri Ozu, Godzilla- Inshiro Honda and Kill directed by Kinchi Onomoto. The films represent the culture, tradition and heritage of Japanese cinema presenting the best in domain of film culture. The screening is also accompanied by workshops by Cinedarbaar to bring a greater degree of understanding and knowhow of Japanese cinema.

| Radio Noida Joins Activities of International Children’s Film Forum |

“The purpose of both the organizations is to get into community service either by community broadcasting by Radio Noida 107.4FM or screening children’s films in villages and slums through International Children’s Film Forum.” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and founder of both the organizations.
International Children’s Film Forum ICFF based in Noida has recently started screening program in Noida villages and slums where some of the good cinema is projected to the children of those villages to promote good habits, education, general health and hygiene.
The coordination of the above program is taken care by a voluntary organization of students of Asian Academy of Film and Television, Asian School of Media Studies, Asian Business School named YES Young Energetic Society.

| 56th National Film Award Brought AAFT To Lime Light |

“It’s a matter of great pride that our alumni Haobam Paban Kumar has won a national Film Award for the best Non Feature film and brought lime light to Asian Academy of Film And Television” said Sandeep Marwah Director of AAFT at Vigyan Bhawan where President of India Smt. Pratibha Patil presented Awards to Indian film Industry for the year 2008 during 56th Ceremony.
In the non-feature film category, Director Haobam Paban Kumar, student of 14th batch of Asian Academy of Film And Television, Noida received the award for the best non-feature film named “AFSPA 1958”. The award is Swarna Kamal and a cash prize of Rs 100,000 to the producers Bachaspatimayum Sunzu and Haobam Paban Kumar and Swarna Kamal and a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000 to the Director Haobam Paban Kumar.
The film is a courageous depiction of the non violent resistance of the people of Manipur to protest against a legislation which undermines the values of self respect and the fundamentals of Democracy. The documentation process by various crews and the way it is chronicled offers multiple perspectives.
The President of India Smt. Pratibha Patil said, “cinema needs to be continuously nurtured, as a part of our efforts to not only excel in making films, but also to use it as a medium to tell our stories, as well as give expression to the importance of a humane approach in life”.
“Cinema has an immense influence on thinking and on lifestyles particularly of the young generation. There is much positive energy that can be generated by using films, for conveying the message of good values to society and also eradicating harmful social evils,” she added.

Recently two medical camps were organized in Noida at Agahapur sec 41 and Barat Ghar sec 31 where not only people donated their blood, more than 100 patients were treated at no cost basis by the doctors of Kailash Hospital followed by screening of information and educational films by ICFF.

Seth, the former Governor of Chattisgarh to inaugurate this National event” R.K.Singh added. ”The workshop will focus on government scheme of CRS, the policy guide lines, use of community radio, hardware and software issues and content development” said Sandeep Marwah president of Marwah Studios and President of this National Seminar.

International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of film and Television in association with Iran Cultural Centre, Embassy of Iran inaugurated three days festival of Iranian Films at Marwah Studios, Noida film city. Some of the finest films were selected for this special festival opened by the Director of Cultural Centre of Iran Embassy.
“AAFT is the correct platform to project Iranian Films, not only students of film and TV get the opportunity to see different expression but they do get to know the culture of this beautiful country” said Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios. “We are very happy to associate with AAFT as the enthusiasm in this institute to learn is highest” said Supriya Suri of CINE DARBAR.

The Vice Principal and the head of Hindi Department Dr R.G. Verma invited Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios, FilmCity, Noida to the inter school Dance and Drama competition in the capacity of Chief Guest. The program was held at Delhi Public School RKPuram where other different branches of DPS school performed.

The first award for video category was given to VISION by H.K. Sharma, DANCING QUEEN by Sumit Roy got the second and THE GIFT by Amar Sohny manage the third. A special jury award was announced for SUNDAY by Sumit Kohli and Audience award handed over to EYE by Ashok Yadav.

“More than 100 short documentary films received on various issues of disability from all over the World and the preview Committee of We Care Filmfest 2010 finalized 32 short films for screening during the film festival which will be moving to all over India. The festival organized by International Film and Television Club inaugurated by the renowned writer, producer, editor and director N.Chandra who has given some of the finest films like Ankhush, Tezab, Pratighat, Narasimha, Humlaa, Beqabu, Yeh Mera India etc and presided over by American film director Karl Bardosh.
“I am amazed by the ideas these mobile films have thrown to all of us to elaborate into full length feature films.” said N. | 56th National Film Awards Announced For Non Feature Film Category. |
The Final result for Non Feature Film Category Awards was handed over to Smt Ambika Soni Minister of Information and Broadcasting , Government of India by the jury in Shastri Bhawan. " I am aware of the hard efforts of the jury and non stop screening of the films,and the clear and sincere intentions has brought these results to the nation" said Minister in the press conference.
‘AFSPA 1958’ was adjudged the Best Non-Feature Film for the courageous depiction of the non-violent resistance of the people of Manipur. Vinoo Choliparambil would be awarded under the category ‘Best First Non-Feature Film of a Director’s for his film Vitthal. Films Division produced ‘The Assassination of Rajiv Gandhi – A Reconstruction’ has been selected under the category ‘Best Biographical / Historical Reconstruction’ / Compilation film’. Another Films Division work ‘The Land of Rupshupas’ was selected under Best Agriculture Film category. Film & Television Institute of India’s produced ‘Trip’ will be awarded as best scientific film. FTII’s ‘Stations’ was also selected as Best Short Fiction Film. Manoj Kannoth gets the Award for Best Editing for ‘Stations’. Children’s Film Society of India produced Prince and the Crown of Stones was selected as the Best Animation Film. The Best Direction Award goes to Umesh Kulkarni for his work ‘Three of Us’. ‘ Three of Us’ also got the award for Best Cinematography.
Ninety Nine entries for non-feature film section were viewed by jury headed by Ms Arunaraje Patil and Shri Krishnendu Bose, Shri Anirban Dutta, Shri Sandeep Marwah, Shri R.V. Ramani, Shri Sarfaraz Siddiqui and Ms. Neena Mohan as members.

The shooting of feature film ‘Sharafat Gayi Tel Lane’ is finished in Delhi-Noida produced under Taandav Film Production Banner by Savita Raj featuring Zayed Khan, Rannvijay (Roadies MTV fame), Anupam Kher, Talia Benson, Paresh Rawal and it’s a debut for Tina Desai under the directorship of young and dynamic Gurmeet Singh. The Story is by Rajesh Chawla and edited by Megna Manchanda.
Gurmeet Singh after passing out from AAFT Asian Academy Of Film And Television joined Marwah Films And Video Production under the leadership of Sandeep Marwah and directed few add films, corporate films and a popular and award winning documentary The Mud Palace.
His interest for feature films brought him to tinsel town and joined Feroz Abbas Khan as assistant director and in no time rose to the level of first AD in ‘Gandhi My Father’. He joined later Ashutosh Gowarikar as Chief Assistant in ‘Jodha Akbar’ and no looking back.

The First Pravasi Film Festival came to an end with the presence of Basu Chatterjee, Rahul Rawail, Satish Kaushik, Sandeep Marwah Manoj Bajpai, Meera Nair and many other dignities who all were there to mark there presence to give industry’s recognition to this first Pravasi film festival at Habitat Centre in New Delhi.
LIFE GOES ON by Sangita Dutta won the best feature film, SHOR directed by D.K.Krishna and Raj Nidimoru best short film and FLYING SIKH was declared as best Short Film Fiction .Around 30 films in total were screened in the festival in feature and non feature category. CHEHRE by Rohit Kaushik was the closing film of the ceremony.

The seminar was attended by Film Director Madhur Bhandarkar, Ashok Pandit,President of Marwah Studios Sandeep Marwah, Actor Mukesh Tyagi,art connoisseur Nevllie Tuli,Sheemaroo Director Hiren Gada and Channel Mahua's Geetanjali Sehgal.
The show stopper was Sandeep Marwah who alone with great enthusiasm discarded the views of the other speakers who were not earlier convinced that Indian films and entertainment industry is now Global. Relating poetry to the current situation he won the applause of the audience to maximum.

| 3rd International Festival of Cell phone Cinema 2010 Announced |

International film and television club along with Asian Academy of Film and Television AAFT have decided to go ahead with the third International festival of mobile cinema at Marwah Studios in the third week of January 2010 informed Sandeep Marwah, the festival president.
“We are ready for the show again, idea is to promote young talent who are keen in expressing them selves through this cheapest mode of cinema that is mobile.” said Marwah announcing 3rd festival. There will be three categories of fiction and music video, reality or electronic media and still image. The total prize money will be around 2000 US dollars.
There are few rules of the competition, all entries to be created using a mobile phone. The entries should be original and not infringe on any copy right law. All work to be either uploaded on batchbuzz.com or the body of work can be sent on CD at the festival office—Marwah Studio, FC 14/15, Film City, Sector 16A, Noida 201301,U.P., India. The decision of the festival president will be final and binding to all the participants of cell phone cinema festival.
The film entries received from various countries will be judged by an international jury in New Delhi and the result for the 3 winner of the Cell Phone Cinema festival will be announced later .The list of the film entries, qualified for the finals, will be disclosed through the Internet. |

International Children’s Film Forum Launched at Global Festival of Films 2009 |

The second day of 2nd Global Festival of documentary Films 2009 proved very lucky for the children when a forum was launched before the august audience consisting of film, TV, Media persons from all over India and other parts of the World jointly by H.E. Voroshilov Enkhbold the Ambassador of Mangolia in India, renowned film makers Basu Chatterjee, Karl Bardosh, Pankaj Parashar Gurbir Garewal and music director Wajid Khan.

| AAFT Join Hands with First Pravasi Film Festival |

The capital is set to host Pravasi Film Festival 2010 Jan 3-6 next year. Films made by Indians living abroad or made outside the country will be showcased at the fest in its first edition. President of Mauritius Sir Anerood Jugnauth unveiled the awards that will be given away at the festival. “I am proud to be associated with this event” said the President of the Republic of Mauritius.
It is being organised by the international bi-lingual monthly Pravasi Today in collaboration with the India Habitat Centre (IHC) with the support of the Mauritius High Commission in India and Asian Academy Of Film and Television (AAFT). Around 20 films will be screened at the gala including ‘Monsoon Wedding’, ‘New York’, ‘99′, ‘The President Is Coming’ and ‘Inner World of Shah Rukh Khan’.
“Films made by Yash Chopra and Sippy Productions will also be screened during the festival .Cinema personalities like Sharmila Tagore, Adhoor Gopalakrishan, Sohal Ali Khan, Amrita Rao, Prakash Jha, Karan Razdan, and Satish Kaushik are expected to attend the four-day event” informed Sandeep Marwah, the president of Asian Academy of Film And Television. “We will give complete media and technical support to the festival” Marwah added.
The first ever Pravasi Film Festival will honour veteran actor Saeed Jaffrey with the lifetime achievement award for his contribution to cinema, said Anil Joshi, the Festival Director.

Commenting on latest trends of bollywood he clearly said to media that there is no formula of successful films. It was the third and the final day of 2nd Global Festival of Documentary Films 2009 at Marwah Studios where ample films had already been displayed for the documentary film makers, media, film and TV students, a huge international gathering was anxiously waiting for the .formal closing when a range of stars were brought to the stage to launch Radio Noida 107.4FM“It may be the closing ceremony of Global festival of films 2009 but it’s the beginning of Non stop Radio Programs at our radio station RADIO NOIDA 107.4FM” said Sandeep Marwah, the President of Marwah Group of Creative Enterprises.
“I am happy that I am once again part of this new venture at Marwah Studios” said Sanjay Kapoor. Some of the finest documentary films were screened during the day followed by the release of set of seven technical books on film making prepared by the documentation department of International Film And Television Research Centre of Marwah Studios on the first day of 2nd Global festival of Documentary films 2009 at inaugural dinner at Noida Film City.
Basu Chatterjee, Pankaj Parashar, Manoj Pahwa together released the set of books at the glamorous evening supported by the presence of media, film and tv personalities.” I am pleased that the organizers have not forgotten the importance of film and tv education even during this glamorous and happening evening, I endorse the idea of Global Festival of Films” said Basu Chatterjee .”Releasing book is no less than a step towards spirituality, I am elevated by this gesture” said Pankaj Parashar. “I must carry these books and study them I will gain knowledge” said Manoj Pahwa.
The president of the festival Sandeep Marwah spoke about the International Film and TV Research Centre and the festival director Suman Bajaj Kalra paid vote of thanks.

The Red Carpet became the centre of attraction on the opening of 2nd Global Festival of Documentary films at Film City Noida organized by International Film And Television Club under the president ship of Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios a renowned Media, Film and TV personality of this part of the World.
“I have always believe in promoting young and talented film makers by creating an opportunity for them in this beautiful trade” said Sandeep Marwah to the international press gathered along with film makers, participants, who”s who of entertainment industry, film and TV students from all over the World.
A formal inauguration took place by lighting the lamp by the renowned, veteran writer, producer and Director Basu Chatterjee along with film director Pankaj Parashar, Manoj Pahwa the famous actor ,Tarry Parrish of Ice Academy, U.K, film maker Shekh Nasir with Suman Bajaj Kalra festival Director and President of the festival Sandeep Marwah.
The festival started with the scheduled program of screening films in three theatres for the first hour followed by huge list of films to follow. “Not much festivals in India promoting documentaries, this festival is the real breathing to the documentary film makers and that too at this scale” said Basu Chatterjee. “I believe in the management of IFTC. This time Global has touched the documentaries, other wise there are no supporters other than government.” said Pankaj Parashar. “I have come all the way from UK to support Sandeep for his venture we need promoters and people with innovative ideas” said Terry Parrish.
The festival is supported by Asian Academy of Film and TV, Asian School of Media Studies, Asian Business School, AAFT School of Graphics and Animation, International Film And Television Research Centre, Radio Noida 107.4FM.and others.
